Fellowship Program

The Wag'N O2 Fur Life® Fellowship Program was set up in 2008 to provide pet oxygen masks at no cost to Fire departments and EMS units in the United States that do not have the budget and/or are unable to find local sponsors. This page will go back live in October 2024

This program is only open for active FIRE & EMS departments in the United States & Fire Departments in Canada

Thank you for your service and interest in acquiring this pet life saving equipment.

* Eligible departments include fire and EMS in the United States + Fire departments in Canada

* Limit of 1 entry per department

* Limit of 1 kit per department 

* Donations prioritized for departments that currently do NOT have any pet oxygen mask kits.

* If your department is already in our database your request will only be considered IF the budget allows. 

* Request must be made using this online form and be submitted by a department representative. Eligible requests will be processed as soon as possible. We will work with you to determine when you are ready to accept the equipment.

The timeline to ship out the equipment depends on funding and inventory availability.

* Requests can only be made by current official department representatives.

* We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please provide a shipping address where packages can be received during normal USPS or UPS delivery hours. If your station is unmanned during normal business hours please provide a manned city or municipality address (police department, city hall etc) along with a contact name. We will not ship to residential addresses.

* This donation request is limited to receiving Wag'N O2 Fur Life pet oxygen mask kits. If you wish to acquire additional parts you may place an order on our website.

We will not use the information provided herein for any other purpose than getting this pet life saving equipment to you. If your department is selected to receive the kit, your department name, city and state will be added to our department database. We do NOT sell or share private information for profit or marketing purposes. 

Were do funds come from? 

- We are taking donations at https://www.petoxygenmasks.org/donations.html

- Income from sales generated up to Sept 30, 2024

- Members of the public can sponsor your department by placing an order and having it shipped directly to the address you provide.

The department selection is made on a first come first serve basis with priority to departments who don't have any and  never received previous donations. 

The number of kits assigned per department is based on total availability minus number of kits requested per department and number of departments applying to the program within the time frame outlined here above.

The Fellowship status will be marked as CLOSED when our budget has reached its limit.

** COMMUNITY SPONSOR INSTRUCTIONS -- PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING **

Once you see a department you wish to sponsor listed in the table here above, please copy the posted department name + shipping address and visit the main O2 Fur Life Kit page.

To keep everything organized and ensure a direct link between sponsors and departments, we ask that you refrain from having orders shipped to yourself before donating to the department. Using the shipping address provided here above helps us and the department keep track of things more efficiently. We work diligently to keep this page manually updated.

Since we're shipping directly to the department, we'll share the tracking number with both the purchaser and the department. Since many volunteer departments aren't staffed 24/7 and delivery is left at the discretion of the delivery driver, sharing the tracking info ensures the department can coordinate safe reception of your generous donation.

- As the sponsor it is entirely up to you to decide if you want your sponsor name to be made public or if you wish to remain anonymous.

... Entries left blank next to 'Sponsor Name' section on the order page, will be shared as 'An Anonymous Pet Lover' is donating [# of kits] + tracking number. 

...If you don't want your name on the public database but you want the department to know your name please let us know in the comment box on the checkout payment page.
