DUTIES AND TAXES
Canadian Orders: All duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the Customer and your receipt and acceptance of your order indicates your acceptance of these terms. The Company has no way of knowing these charges when the package leaves our facility. The shipping prices indicated by the online system only covers transportation and fuel fees.
Your shipment will be subject to brokerage fees if your order ships with UPS and/or FedEx (disbursement, service tax, provincial taxes, line item fees, etc). Should you wish to contest these fees, please contact UPS and/or FedEx in your country.
We recently found this blog post providing advice on how to avoid brokerage fees (requires you to self clear the order). Click HERE to read more. ** This link is provided as an informational piece only.
Other International Orders: All duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the Customer and your receipt and acceptance of your order indicates your acceptance of these terms. Since all Non-Canadian International orders generally ship via the US Postal service and will be handled by each country's postal service, we have no way of estimating or knowing if import taxes and duties will be applied to your order and/or how much these fees will amount to. By placing your order with us you agree to take full responsibility for these fees.
Should the Receiver refuse to pay, the Company will assess a $35 penalty fee on Canadian orders and $50 on all Non-Canadian International orders to the recipient's account in addition to the duties and taxes due.
